As we exited the first tunnel, we came face to face with the first real viaduct / bridge on the NMR. We had already crossed a few small bridges before we came in here, but this was the first real deal. The advice from the gangmen were simple and precise. Move slowly and steadily and DO NOT look down. Stick to the center

Check and Engage the Pinion before starting the ascent. Look at the 12.5 gradient marker. For every 12.5 feet you walk along, you ascent a foot vertically. That is is SOME gradient. Infact I think this is Asia’s steepest gradient
